Marketing Writing for Technical Products

About the Event

This is a joint meeting with the Baltimore chapter. Bob Pallace, president of Pallace, Inc., will present a session on how his Silver Spring-based printing business grew into a profitable advertising agency with an emphasis on high-tech products. He will share writing tips and insights into this new emerging area of technical communication: high-tech marketing writing.

Connie Kiernan, conference manager for the 1995 STC Annual Conference (which will be held in Washington, DC) will be present to discuss some of the volunteer positions available to make the conference a success. Connie will provide a brief overview of the types of programs that she is coordinating. She will conduct a organizational / brainstorming meeting for interested volunteers from the Baltimore and DC chapters on Tuesday, November 16 at the Applied Physics Lab.

Don't forget your business cards! We collect a business card from each attendee for a drawing to be held in March. The prize is the cost of the registration fee for the Annual conference will be paid for by the Chapter.
