Topic: Joint Chapter Meeting with James River, West Virginia, and Baltimore Chapters and the WDC Chapter Service Recognition Luncheon."

Presentation by TierTwo: "Document Management for Today's Technical Communicators: Real Problems, Real Solutions"

About the Event

Come join us to network with STC members in Region 2 from the James River, West Virginia, and Baltimore Chapters. The WDC Chapter will also recognize those who have served the Chapter by volunteering on committees, and we will introduce the new chapter officers for the 1998-1999 term. Meet at the Mount Vernon Inn for lunch, a presentation (TierTwo), and networking. Then attendees will visit the Mount Vernon estate. Plan to spend two hours on the estate. Guides are stationed throughout the Mansion to interpret the home and answer questions during the self-guided tour. For more information about the estate, see their web page at https://www.mountvernon.org/

Don't forget your business cards for networking!

About the Speaker

Presentation by TierTwo: Document Management for Today's Technical Communicators: Real Problems, Real Solutions. When TierTwo launched AuthorAssistant at this Year's STC conference in Anaheim, they discovered very quickly that many tech writers are confronted with the issues of version control, concurrency management, and component management; in fact, they answered as many questions about document management as they did about their product. Therefore, they know it's a hot topic, and something people are seeking information on.
