Topic: "Competition Awards Banquet"
About the Event
The STC Washington, DC Chapter Executive Board and committee members cordially invite you and your guests to honor award recipients at the annual Publications, Art, and Online Communication Competition Awards Banquet.
Don't forget your business cards for networking! We collect a business card from each attendee for a chance to win the registration fee for the Annual conference. The drawing takes place at the March meeting. The more meetings you attend, the more chances to win.
About the Speaker
Mary R. Wise has been a technical communicator for over 15 years. She is currently Manager of Instructional Design for Manugistics, Inc., where she directs the development of all the course materials used to train clients, consultants, and business partners. Mary now serves STC as First Vice President. Previously, she has been Second Vice President, Director-Sponsor of Region 2, Program Manager of the 40th Annual Conference, and member of the Conference Advisory Committee. Although she was a clown in a previous life, Mary knew she was destined for technical communication because her name is a complete, though ungrammatical, sentence.
