About the Event

Come regale your peers with a success story or share your cares with old and new friends. Better yet, just reserve yourself a relaxing evening in the middle of the busy holiday season. Casual conversation, delicious delectables and festive fun – way better than fighting those holiday shoppers! Mary Kabza, the STC Director of Marketing and Membership, will share some information on changes and upcoming activities and events at the Society level. She'll also be available for a Q&A session to address any questions, concerns, thoughts, and ideas you might have.

Mary Kabza brings an exceptional blend of experiences, education, and personal attributes to the new position of STC Director of Marketing and Membership. For the past two years Mary has worked in England as both a consultant and marketing manager. These roles focused on start-up activities, venture capital and revenue and sponsorship models, as well as crafting marketing / product promotion campaigns. Before that she worked from 1994-2004 for two national associations: The National Rural Electric Cooperative (in Arlington) and DC-based American Association for Clinical Chemistry. Those roles included accountability for membership, marketing, and other highly relevant experiences, including managing professional staff as well as the online activities of an association's website. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington, a master's degree in Marketing from Johns-Hopkins University, and a master's certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
