Topic: "We Are What We Measure: Metrics for Technical Communicators"
About the Event
Wondering whether you're productive and effective in your work? Admittedly, technical communicators have no single, proven formula for proving our productivity and effectiveness. This session explains why. Then it identifies the variety of measures used to assess the productivity and effectiveness of software developers and communicators working in other disciplines, and considers ways we can adapt these complex assessments to our work. We also explore the challenges in collecting credible data on productivity and effectiveness, and identify challenges in reporting this information to management.
Don't forget your business cards for networking and books for the book drive!
