By Metro:
Take the Orange line to the Ballston Metro station. Take the escalator to street level (corner of Fairfax Drive and Stuart Street) and turn right toward Stuart Street. Cross Stuart Street, walk one block ahead to Taylor Street and turn left. NRECA is the last building on the right at the corner of Taylor Street and Wilson Boulevard. The main entrance is on Taylor Street. Look for the NRECA name on the building above the doors.Metro information:

From Dulles, Capital Beltway / I-495, Rockville, MD and points west of Ballston (via I-66 East):
Follow signs to Washington, DC. until you exit onto I-66 East exit 45B. Take I-66 East towards Washington, DC. Take the Fairfax Drive VA-120/Glebe Road VA-237 exit (exit 71). The road you exit onto is Fairfax Drive. Stay on Fairfax Drive. Turn right on Taylor Street (3rd light). NRECA is the last building on the right on Taylor Street before it dead-ends into Wilson Boulevard. Turn right into the NRECA building parking garage. To park, see Parking.
From I-95 / I-395 North (from points south of Ballston):
From I-95 North / I-395 North, about 10 miles inside the beltway, take exit 7, Glebe Road north. Follow Glebe Road to Wilson Boulevard (about 2 miles). Turn right onto Wilson Boulevard. Turn left at the first intersection onto Taylor Street. Turn left into the NRECA building parking garage. To park, see Parking.
From Washington, D.C./I-395:
On I-395 South take the ramp towards Arlington Cemetery Exit #10C. Merge onto the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway) North and follow signs to the Memorial Bridge (US-50 W)/Arlington Cemetery. Pass the exit for Memorial Bridge and follow signs to Route 50 West. From Route 50, take the Glebe Road/Ballston exit and turn right onto Glebe Road. Travel approximately 3/4 mile north. Turn right on Taylor Street (first light). NRECA is the last building on the right on Taylor Street before it dead-ends into Wilson Boulevard. Turn right into the NRECA building parking garage. From Washington, D.C./Constitution Avenue via the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge:
Take Constitution Avenue NW towards Henry Bacon Drive NW. Bear right to take the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge to I-66 West. From the second from right lane, follow signs for Route 50 West. From Route 50, take the Glebe Road/Ballston exit and turn right onto Glebe Road. Travel approximately 3/4 mile north. Turn right on Taylor Street (first light). From the Key Bridge:
Cross into Virginia and go straight on Fort Myer Drive through 3 or 4 lights and through an underpass. From the right lane after the underpass, take the exit ramp for Arlington Boulevard/Route-50 West. From Route 50, take the Glebe Road/Ballston exit and turn right onto Glebe Road. Travel approximately 3/4 mile north. Turn right on Taylor Street (first light). NRECA is the last building on the right on Taylor Street before it dead-ends into Wilson Boulevard. From the Memorial Bridge:
Cross into Virginia and stay right until you see signs for Route 50 West. Take the exit ramp for Arlington Boulevard/US-50 West. From Route 50, take the Glebe Road/Ballston exit and turn right onto Glebe Road. Travel approximately 3/4 mile north. Turn right on Taylor Street (first light). From the 14th Street Bridge:
Cross into Virginia and immediately bear right towards Arlington Cemetery. You are now on the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway) North. Follow the signs to the Memorial Bridge (Route-50 W)/Arlington Cemetery. Pass the exit for Memorial Bridge and follow signs to Route 50 West. From Route 50, take the Glebe Road/Ballston exit and turn right onto Glebe Road. Travel approximately 3/4 mile north. Turn right on Taylor Street (first light). Parking
Enter the building parking garage from the Taylor Street ramp. Parking is free in the evenings and Saturday and to those attending events in the NRECA building. Be sure to tell the attendant that you attended this event and you will not be charged. Take the elevator from the garage to the Plaza Level, and follow the signs to the conference room.
Accessibility
Two shuttle elevators operate from each garage level to the Plaza Lobby. The NRECA building and Conference Center meet all ADA requirements and are completely accessible to the disabled.

Parking in Metro lots
A SmarTrip card is the only form of payment accepted at Metro-operated parking lots. For more information about Metro parking and lot operating hours, see Parking at Metrorail Stations.
Where to Buy a SmarTrip Card
You may purchase SmarTrip cards online from the SmarTrip Store.
Standard SmarTrip Farecard
A renewable SmarTrip farecard purchased online has a $20 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $25 online.
Senior and Disabled SmarTrip Farecard
In order to purchase a discounted farecard, Senior citizens (65 and older) and persons with disabilities must have proof of age or a valid Metro Disability ID Card. For information on how to apply, see https://www.wmata.com/service/accessibility/metro-access/eligibility.cfm. Senior citizens 65 years or older with a disability and Medicare card holders with a valid photo ID are not required to apply for the Metro Disability ID card, but may purchase fare by showing proof of age at any Metro Sales location, many public libraries in the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and Prince George's County, and retail outlets. Applications for the free WMATA Disabled ID card are available from the Office of ADA Programs at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or by calling 202-962-1245 or TTY 202-628-8973 or calling 202-962-1558 or TTY 202-962-2033 and requesting an application be mailed to you. A renewable SmarTrip farecard for senior (65 and older) and disabled riders purchased online has a $10 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $15 online.
SmarTrip cards may also be purchased from vending machines in Metro stations but come with a lower initial fare value: $5 for the card with a $5 fare value for a total of $10 for the standard farecard. A separate vending machine allows you to add fare value up to $300 to the card.
