By Metro:

Take the Green line to the College Park–U of MD Metro station. (If you need to transfer to the Green Line, consult the maps at your station.) The hotel is located approximately one mile from the College Park - U. of MD station. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the Metro Station every 30 minutes (on the hour and half hour). The evening shuttle runs start at 6:00 p.m.

By Car:College Park Inn map

From Baltimore on I-95 South:
Take exit 25b (combined with exit 27). Follow signs to College Park / U.S. Route 1 South. Continue 1 1/4 mile on Route 1 South (Baltimore Avenue). The hotel is on your left after the Greenbelt Road intersection.

From Falls Church, Virginia and Montgomery County, Maryland on the Beltway (I-495 inner loop):
Take I-495 (the Beltway) to Exit 25 B (Route 1 / Baltimore Avenue). Take Baltimore Avenue south for approximately 1 1/4 miles. The hotel is on the left after the Greenbelt Road intersection.

From Baltimore on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway:
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD-295) South to Washington. Take the exit towards MD-193/Greenbelt/NASA Goddard. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Southway and merge right onto Greenbelt Road (MD-193 W). Continue about 2 miles to the left turn light where Greenbelt Road splits into University Boulevard. Turn left to continue on Greenbelt Road. Continue to the light at Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Turn left onto Route 1. The hotel is on the left after the Greenbelt Road intersection.

From Alexandria, Virginia on the Beltway (I-495 outer loop):
Take I-95 (the Beltway) north toward Baltimore. Take Exit 25 (U.S. Route 1 South). At the light, turn left. Continue 2 miles on Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). The hotel is on the left after the Greenbelt Road intersection.

From Union Station, Washington, DC:
The University is 12 miles from the center of downtown Washington, D.C. Drive north on North Capital Street about 2 miles to Michigan Avenue (just past the reservoir. Washington Hospital Center is to your left and Catholic U. to your right). Turn right onto Michigan Avenue. Continue going northeast on Michigan Avenue about 2.3 miles. As you cross the District line, Michigan Avenue becomes Queens Chapel Road. Continue on Queens Chapel for a little over 2.2 miles (stay in right/middle lane for the first mile till you get past Hamilton Street) to the intersections of Queens Chapel Road, Adelphi Road, and East-West Highway. Turn right onto East-West Highway (MD-401). Turn left onto Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Continue about 2.2 miles to the hotel, which will be on your right.

Parking in Metro lots

Where to Buy a SmarTrip Card

You may purchase SmarTrip cards online from the SmarTrip Store.

Standard SmarTrip Farecard

A renewable SmarTrip farecard purchased online has a $20 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $25 online.

Senior and Disabled SmarTrip Farecard

In order to purchase a discounted farecard, Senior citizens (65 and older) and persons with disabilities must have proof of age or a valid Metro Disability ID Card. For information on how to apply, see https://www.wmata.com/service/accessibility/metro-access/eligibility.cfm. Senior citizens 65 years or older with a disability and Medicare card holders with a valid photo ID are not required to apply for the Metro Disability ID card, but may purchase fare by showing proof of age at any Metro Sales location, many public libraries in the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and Prince George's County, and retail outlets. Applications for the free WMATA Disabled ID card are available from the Office of ADA Programs at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or by calling 202-962-1245 or TTY 202-628-8973 or calling 202-962-1558 or TTY 202-962-2033 and requesting an application be mailed to you. A renewable SmarTrip farecard for senior (65 and older) and disabled riders purchased online has a $10 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $15 online.

SmarTrip cards may also be purchased from vending machines in Metro stations but come with a lower initial fare value: $5 for the card with a $5 fare value for a total of $10 for the standard farecard. A separate vending machine allows you to add fare value up to $300 to the card.
