Bailey's is in the Ballston Common Mall at the corner of Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard; two blocks from the Ballston Metro station. Bailey's is closest to the Randolph Street entrance to the mall.

By Metro:

Take the Orange line to the Ballston-MU Metro station, which is located at the SE and NW corners of Fairfax Drive and North Stuart Streets (there is only one exit from this stop). Take the escalators to the top and turn right. Cosi Café on Stuart Street will face you. Turn left. Walk two blocks until you reach the entrance to Ballston Common Mall just to the left of Macy's. Enter the mall and turn left onto the concourse toward the exit to Randolph Street. You will see the entrance to Bailey's on your right about 50 feet before you come to the Randolph Street exit.

photo of Ballston Metro skywalkBallston Common Mall is connected to the Metro station by a skywalk from Mall Level 2. To return to the Metro from the mall, take elevator to Level 2 of the Mall. Turn left at the escalators. Turn right at the center court. Go forward to the Skywalk (next to Foot Locker). Go through the Skywalk and follow the signs to the Ballston Metro station.

By Car:

From your starting point: Driving Directions and Map.

Note: HOV = High Occupancy Vehicles for 2 or 3 passengers (depending on where you are traveling from). Traveling in active HOV lanes with fewer passengers is a fine up to $500.00.

HOV for I-66 East is active for all lanes from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and for all lanes on I-66 West from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, two (2) or more occupants are required.

HOV lanes on I-95 / 395 N require three (3) occupants between 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and between 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

From Washington, DC:
Cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge and take I-66 West to Exit 71 (Glebe Road). Turn left onto N. Glebe Road. Follow Glebe Road past Wilson Boulevard to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your left. (See Parking information.)

From the North—Baltimore, Bethesda/Silver Spring (Non-HOV hours):
Take I-95 to the Beltway (I-495) toward Silver Spring/Northern Virginia. Follow I-495 to Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) and go towards Washington. Proceed on Route 50 and turn left onto N. Glebe Road. Follow Glebe Road past Wilson Boulevard to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your left. (See Parking information.)

Alternate Route Coming from the North (Non-HOV hours):
Take the George Washington Parkway to the Key Bridge Exit (Rosslyn). Follow signs to I-66 West and continue on I-66 West to Exit 71 (Fairfax Drive / Glebe Road). Get off at Exit 71 and proceed straight on Fairfax Drive. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right onto N. Glebe Road. Follow Glebe Road to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your left. (See Parking information.)

From the North—Baltimore, Bethesda/Silver Spring (HOV hours):
Take I-95 to the Beltway (I-495) toward Silver Spring/Northern Virginia. Follow signs to I-66 East (a left-side exit) and continue on I-66 East to Exit 71 (Fairfax Drive / Glebe Road). From the South:
Take I-95 North to I-395 North. Follow I-395 North to exit 7B (Glebe Road / Route 120 North). Proceed North on Glebe Road for about 3 miles to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your right just past Randolph Road. (See Parking information.)

From the West:
Take I-66 East to exit 71 (Fairfax Drive/Glebe Road). Get off at Exit 71 and proceed straight on Fairfax Drive. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right onto N. Glebe Road. Follow Glebe Road to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your left. (See Parking information.)

From the East:
Take I-66 West to Exit 71 (N. Glebe Road). Get off at Exit 71 and turn left onto N. Glebe Road. Follow Glebe Road past Wilson Boulevard to the Ballston Public Parking Garage at 665 North Glebe Road, which will be on your left. (See Parking information.)

Parking

Bailey's is in the Ballston Common Mall at the corner of Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard - Bailey's is closest to the Randolph Street entrance. The entrance to the mall parking garage is at 627 North Glebe Road, at the intersection of Glebe and Randolph Roads, across from the Exxon station. Parking is $1.00 if you enter after 6:00 p.m. Take the parking garage elevator to the M1/G1 level. Turn to your left, and walk up the stairs and through the glass doors. Walk to your right toward the Randolph Road exit. You will see the entrance to Bailey's on your right about 50 feet before you come to the Randolph Street exit.

Street parking meters and other underground pay parking lots are also available in the area. Additional parking is available located under the National Science Foundation (NSF) directly south of 901 N. Stuart (STC headquarters) and under 901 N. Stuart Office Building (off Stafford Street). There is an enclosed walkway on the 2nd floor from the mall to the NSF and between the NSF to the 901 N. Stuart Office Building.

Parking in Metro lots

A SmarTrip card is the only form of payment accepted at Metro-operated parking lots. For more information about Metro parking and lot operating hours, see Parking at Metrorail Stations.

Where to Buy a SmarTrip Card

You may purchase SmarTrip cards online from the SmarTrip Store.

Standard SmarTrip Farecard

A renewable SmarTrip farecard purchased online has a $20 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $25 online.

Senior and Disabled SmarTrip Farecard

In order to purchase a discounted farecard, Senior citizens (65 and older) and persons with disabilities must have proof of age or a valid Metro Disability ID Card. For information on how to apply, see https://www.wmata.com/service/accessibility/metro-access/eligibility.cfm. Senior citizens 65 years or older with a disability and Medicare card holders with a valid photo ID are not required to apply for the Metro Disability ID card, but may purchase fare by showing proof of age at any Metro Sales location, many public libraries in the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and Prince George's County, and retail outlets. Applications for the free WMATA Disabled ID card are available from the Office of ADA Programs at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or by calling 202-962-1245 or TTY 202-628-8973 or calling 202-962-1558 or TTY 202-962-2033 and requesting an application be mailed to you. A renewable SmarTrip farecard for senior (65 and older) and disabled riders purchased online has a $10 fare value already on it. The cost for the renewable card is $5. The total charge for this card is $15 online.

SmarTrip cards may also be purchased from vending machines in Metro stations but come with a lower initial fare value: $5 for the card with a $5 fare value for a total of $10 for the standard farecard. A separate vending machine allows you to add fare value up to $300 to the card.
